Teach people to farm: the « multiplier » effect

Here is an infographic showing that investing in agriculture could be one of the best ways to reduce poverty.

Indeed, up to 70% of the people living in extreme poverty are small holder farmers.

Simple interventions could improve increase crop yield and the environment, as well as connections with the market. This can be called “the multiplier effect”, and it allows millions of families to have a brighter, sustainable future ahead of them.
